This is an ES335 style vintage Edmond guitar that needs work. I believe it’s from the 1960s. I bought it like this and realized that I won’t be able to complete the work properly. Cosmetically, it’s not bad. Crazing to the finish on the body. The usual 69-70 year old wear and tear. The neck joint is not cracked but is built like the old Spanish guitar. It also has a bolt on neck something like how Taylor bolts their guitar necks on now. It will need new tuners, a nut and bridge. I would also change the tailpiece to a trapezoid or something newer. I was able to test the electronics, the bridge pickup works and there is a buzzing sound when switched to add the neck pickup, which I suspect it to be the ground that is discounted to that pickup, probably at the pot location. I have repaired that problem on other archtop electric guitars before a while back when I was much younger. There are videos to help you manage taking the harness out. I used the string, fingers and wire method with great success, no special tools required. This guitar would be great to get the experience. George Harrison used this brand of guitar when he joined the Beatles. Sold as-is for repair. Local pickup only.
